Job Description

The Vice President of Client Relations works closely with the Murray team to build relationships with custom home leads and clients. Communication skills, organization skills, and the ability to manage various tasks are essential. This position reports directly to the Owner/President of Murray Custom Homes, Roofing, and Restoration.  


Sales Responsibilities   

Maintain an accurate view of the customer pipeline, weekly sales numbers, lead activity, and related measurables. 

Play a key role in growing and developing a customer list.  

Set yearly, monthly, and quarterly sales goals and maintain accurate/consistent reporting.  

Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve established sales targets.  

Regularly communicate to leadership on the progress of those goals.  


Leadership Responsibilities   

Manage and oversee the operations of the client relations team. 

Develop future strategies for growth in areas tied to company-wide goals. 

Help document sales/client relations processes, procedures, and policies.   

Establish a sales training program to onboard new employees.  

Conduct regular employee performance reviews, develop performance improvement plans, and assist with goal-setting and individual development strategies.  

Collaborate with project managers to understand workload, capacity, and availability for new 



Finance Responsibilities   

Assess client wants/needs compared to the base price and develop estimates for clients in 

collaboration with the owner/president.

Track and manage individual and total sales for the custom homes division.   

Maintain updated sales reports for the custom homes division. 

Develop and manage sales budget.

Regularly assess costs, competition, and supply and demand to identify and update custom 

homes pricing.


Valid driver’s license   

Ability to manage email, calendar, and CRM systems and technology   

Written and verbal communication skills   

Organization skills to manage several clients and projects at once   

Accountable and reliable   

Previous sales experience preferred


Weekly Tasks/Activities  

Attend weekly sales meetings at the office or remotely.

Keep the calendar up to date for client relations to schedule appointments.  

Review, respond, and update Custom Home CRM daily including notes.    

Play a primary role in acquiring new prospects and leads.  

Maintain a regular presence in the office for meaningful collaboration with the team and clients. 

$45,000-$55,000 per year plus bonuses.

This position is Monday-Friday, some evenings, and potentially weekends.
