What is the Murray home building process?
It depends on a few different factors like whether you want to build a custom home on your own lot or have us help you find a lot. And/or whether you’re using one of our floor plans or creating your own custom home design. Learn more about the Murray building process.
Do I need a new construction loan?
A new construction loan is only necessary when the homeowner owns the lot rather than it being a Murray Custom Homes lot. When a new construction loan is required, our team can assist you in secure loans through our preferred lenders.
When do I make feature selections?
After all of the structural designs have been made for your home, such as the room dimensions, window and door locations, etc., we start the process of selecting all of the finishing touches of your home. This includes flooring, countertops, cabinets, fixtures, and all the little touches that make it your dream home.
Does my home come with a warranty?
Warranties and taking care of our customers after they move in is something we pride ourselves in. When you buy a Murray Custom Home you receive a 10 year structural warranty. You also receive the manufacturer’s warranties on each of the products that have been put into your home. These warranties range from a minimum of 1 year up to 10 years.
How long will it take to build my home?
Our construction times are typically 8-9 months from approval of permits to the day you walk through the front door of your beautiful new home.
What sizes of homes does Murray build?
Murray Custom Homes offers many different floor plans ranging from 1,100 square feet to over 5,000 square feet of living space. We offer in house drafting services and can combine our designs with your dreams for the new home floor plan.
