You’ll meet with a semi-custom home VP of Client Relations to determine whether the partnership is a good fit. During this stage, the builder helps you decide on the level of customization and confirms whether a semi-custom home aligns with your needs and vision.

 

2. Design

Next, you’ll select the floor plan that best fits your lifestyle. Once chosen, you’ll have two opportunities to make revisions to ensure the layout meets your needs. Within that plan, some selections are guided by allowances, giving you flexibility in choosing finishes and features. Other components are preselected or offered from a narrowed range of options, streamlining the process while still allowing for meaningful personalization. To keep the project on schedule, all selections must be finalized prior to the start of excavation, ensuring your home is built according to your choices from the outset.

 

3. Construction

The construction phase follows a clear, efficient timeline as guided through Buildertrend and your Project Manager — beginning with site preparation and framing, then moving through electrical, plumbing, and finishes. Throughout the process, your builder will keep you informed and guide you every step of the way.

 

4. Final Walkthrough & Delivery

In the final stage, you’ll walk through the completed home to review how your selected floor plan and chosen customizations came together. This is the time to ensure every detail meets your expectations. Once everything is confirmed, your home is ready for move-in.
