Right before the pandemic hit, we saw new home construction demand start to grow at a rapid pace. In fact, the home building industry was experiencing all-time highs right before the outbreaks. Seeing this demand early on, owner Matt Murray instructed his team of project managers, realtors, and marketers to seek out the communities in and around Lincoln that will hold the best value for the customer.

Now, post-pandemic with surging lumber prices, and labor shortage effects on the building sector having a range of home locations for customers to choose from is important.

WHERE WE ARE BUILDING

1. Hillcrest Country Club

Hillcrest Country Club is one of the newest areas that Murray Custom Homes is building in, and we couldn’t be happier! Hillcrest is home to a golf course with a clubhouse, pool, fitness center, and more. Located at 98th and O street with equally easy access to amenities in both north and south Lincoln.

As of this blog post, we have two lots available on south 93rd Street. These lots are perfect for an adaptation of one of our Franciscan floor plans which includes a 1,747 main level floor plan with a finished basement and three stall garage. 2. Firethorn Golf Club

Firethorn is a premier golf club and residential neighborhood known for having several modern and luxurious homes in the area. Located in the 84th & Vandorn area, Firethorn is a perfect location for those wanting to build custom homes on half-acre golf course lots. With amenities like the Firethorn Golf Course, community clubhouse, pool, and the West Nine Learning Center it is easy to see why this is such a popular community.

Murray Custom Homes has built several homes in Boulder Ridge including 8838 Grey Hawk, 8810 Rocky Top, and 8831 Pebble Creek. There are several lots available in the latest additions and the 9th addition will be released shortly. 4. Southwest Village Heights

Southwest Village Heights is a new residential community located in southwest Lincoln. Close to parks, trails, shopping, and more, this is the perfect location to build your custom home. This community offers affordable options with lower lot rates and smaller square footage home options.

In Southwest Village Heights we currently have two lots available at this location with various buildable floor plans or a completely custom home.
